The discounted room rate is $205/night, is on a first-come basis and has a possibility of selling out.

Airport: The closest airport to the venue is Orlando International Airport (MCO), which is approximately 18 miles from the hotel. Tampa International Airport (TPA) is also local, approximately 77 miles from the hotel. Flight costs are the responsibility of the attendee.

Ground Transportation: While the hotel does not offer ground transportation from the airport, Uber and Lift are readily available from both airports. Additionally, there are multiple taxi and transportation companies that are available on the arrivals level of each airport terminal. Ground transportation costs are the responsibility of the attendee.

Additional logistical information: All pertinent additional logistical information will be sent to registered attendees as the event approaches.

Face Masks
Grocery Industry Week will follow all state and local regulations and encourages our attendees to follow the CDC & WHO mask recommendations.  At this time we will not require proof of vaccination unless a policy is put in place by local government. All attendees are welcome to wear masks - which will be available onsite. Currently, all Hotel staff are required to wear masks.

Increased Sanitization 
Grocery Industry Week is working closely with the Hyatt Grand Cypress on their rigorous safety and cleanliness protocols. As a GBAC STAR accredited facility, it is acknowledged the hotel’s protocols for cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention to protect guests and associates complies with GBAC’s 20-point auditing system.  Attendees may visit the Hyatt’s COVID-19 Travel Updates page for the most recent hotel guest policies.

Responsible Distancing  
Based on the venue and local government regulations, we will adhere to distancing that enables our guests to feel most comfortable.  

Enhanced Hygiene  
Attendees are encouraged to wash and sanitize their hands frequently. Sanitizing stations will be available throughout the hotel and event spaces.  Additionally, individual hand sanitizers will be distributed at the event. Special attention will be paid to the restrooms and the increased traffic areas. 

Direction from Event Staff 
We know this is an ever changing situation and adjustments may be needed while onsite. We are asking attendees to adhere to all directions and signage from our EIQ event staff.
